Here is an old Queen for a Day show from 1956.

Wow! Loved this YouTube showing. Brought back so many memories not only of Queen For A Day" but the products and clothes of the day. 1956 was the year I graduated from high school. Thanks for the memories!

Remember getting to see it at a friend's house. We did not have a TV.

LOL, I am proud to say I remember this show also. It was one of the few I was allowed to watch, and I always felt so badly for the ones that didn't win. I wanted everyone to get their dreams and be happy!!

I remember Queen for a Day, but in 1956 I was pregnant with my first, and we did not have a TV. After reading some of these posts, perhaps I remember it more from radio. My mother used to listen to Old Ma Perkins, Perry Mason and a few more when she took her morning break to take a rest, nurse the baby, read a magazine and listen to the radio; all at the same time.

Hmmm... watched that show for years! TV isn't the same!
