My niece left a tube here on her last visit. When I told her she said throw it out. Of course I had to try it on my winter skin legs, works like a charm. I'm on a roll,LOL. So next I tried it on the backs of my upper arms, my it feels so good. Have buy more. Try it yo might like it as much as I do.

Target, WM, anywhere they sell facial scrubs.

St Ives...peach colored top...it was all the rage back in the 70's as well...

it is great for getting old sunburned skin off as well!

I love that stuff! Walmart has a store brand that is cheaper, too!
I wouldn't use it on your face everyday, though. It is a little too rough for that.

I have the St Ives apricot scrub, thanks for reminding me. I sure could use a good scrubbing.

bobbie1 06-30-2011 07:23 PM

I use it on my rough hands. Works great. Use it occasionally on face but as stated before, kind of harsh to use regularly.

I love apricot facial scrub. The dollar store makes a generic brand that works just as well. My daughter and I love it around around house :)

Glassquilt 07-01-2011 05:13 PM

My scrub: table salt & Skin-so-Soft bath oil.

lheartsl 07-01-2011 05:49 PM

yup good stuff, never thought about using on my legs or anything.... I have harmons brand one

meemersmom 07-01-2011 07:17 PM

I use either table salt or sugar w/ body wash for using in the shower. You can't overscrub with either because they dissolve before that would happen. For face, I put a tablespoon or two of rolled oats in a blender and chop away finely -- mix some of that in w/ my regular soap, and it makes a good scrub. Both cost next to nothing, and I always have on hand.

I use to use that all the time...makes your face feel invigorated...maybe I'll buy some over the weekend. Thanks for the post.
