DIL phoned last evening with this idea. :-)

Tear up pieces of bread and place in cupcake liner. I used two liners, but will buy the sturdier foil and paper liners next year.

Fun! I made a run to the grocery store last night and "baked" this morning. I am delivering my version of chocolate Easter bunnies this afternoon!

LOL, I'd eat all the frosting and never figure out that it was a joke. I'd just assume your cupcake recipe was weird. I'd probably even eat the bread!

You could bake cornbread in the liners and frost those! That would get a second take from who ever bit into it.
