this one of those "why didn't I think of that" https://vimeo.com/109051666 and here are the prices http://www.hedleyandbennett.com/coll.../full-aprons-1 what do you all think ?

quiltin-nannie 07-20-2015 06:06 AM

Wow! Those are some pricey aprons!

KalamaQuilts 07-20-2015 07:11 AM

that is probably what fabric + labor costs, but I prefer my pretty vintage ones of printed cotton. They were inherited over the years and hold good memories brought to the surface every time I pull one out. And aprons do serve a purpose!

Geez! No way!

Holey Toledo, just for a apron? For that kind of money, I'd rather find a good fabric sale:)

WOW -- the aprons are nice looking, but the price is out there (but I don't know what a "normal" chef's apron costs).

$$$ Maybe they weave their own denim!

I have been making this style of aprons for years using indoor/outdoor fabrics from Joanns and giving them to friends. Easy and fun to make with pretty fabrics even for men who cook. As far as her prices, good for her. Made in America for a craft industry. As long as people are willing to pay. And for quilting board members, we know we can always make our own. Now where is my stash of apron fabric.....

I agree...very pricey. I make them for much less
