He will live on in our memories.

Nooooo  I watched so many of his programs with Mom and Dad and at Grama's house... This is so sad...

Pam 05-26-2010 02:13 PM

I read his books, too. Great guy, I really cannot remember anyone ever saying anything bad about him.

QuiltingGrannie 05-26-2010 02:16 PM

He will be missed. I loved watching his shows and laughing so hard I'd cry! He touched so many lives.

I loved his show, too. And I love The Red Skelton show. I miss shows like that. Carol Burnett's show was a good one, too.

CAROLJ 05-26-2010 03:33 PM

I liked him and his Kids Say the Darnest Things. :(

Bettia 05-26-2010 03:37 PM

My all time favorite is The Golden Girls. I did like Art as well. Remember him saying, Ah Wonerful.

raptureready 05-26-2010 06:25 PM

That's sad but then again, I was shocked that he was still alive, I thought he died a long time ago. I liked his show but Red Skelton was my favorite.

I grew up watching the "kids" on the house party. Will miss this wonderful man.

Sorry to hear of his death. He will be remembered by the joy he gave to others and the innocence of the children on his show.

What a great man! Will truly be missed!

Bless his heart, I'm really didn't mean it to be funny but I seriously didn't realize that he was still alive. He'd probably have laughed too though.

Not only did he live a long life but I saw him not that long ago on Larry King and he looked fantastic. He was ageless.

So sad to loose yet another Great One.

Mousie 05-27-2010 08:53 AM

aww, we just mentioned him the other day here on the board, too! I used to watch him every single day...does that give my age away? I was a very, very, very young mouse...in fact, might have been reruns, LOL!
May his dear soul rest in peace.

littlehud 05-27-2010 11:55 AM
