A few days ago someone posted some gorgeous photos of autumn in their part of the country. Today my husband and I took a ride up the hill to catch some of the colors in our neck of the woods. The Sierra's are rugged and we do have some trees starting to show their golden colors. Thought I would share a little of what we saw. I just took them with my iPhone.

Thanks for the idea. I love the one with the ancient trees jutting from the rocks. That might be a good one. I will have to see what Quilter's Assist would do with that picture.

That was taken at Sorenson Resort. They have these cute topiaries around the property. Those are little bear ones climbing the trees. They also had two sitting by a pond fishing and a bear one also reading the book Goldilocks and the Three Bears. My phone didn't do the scene justice. They are really cute.
