Awesome info on sideways pictures!

The other day meyert posted a picture of a cute little quilt that she made for her little great nephew & the picture came out sideways & she didn't know why. Well, maviskw posted a solution to the sideways picture that I had never heard before. It worked for me & I was able to view the quilt facing in the right direction. I thought others might like to try this the next time a picture is posted sideways. THANKS MAVISKW!

quote from maviskw: "Have you tried right clicking on it? After the right click, click on "view image". That flips it to upright. If that doesn't work, it means your camera was sideways when you took the picture. This works most of the time on my computer." unquote from maviskw

That sounds like a solution but I post from my iPad and there's no right click.

:( Awww, so sad.

that works most times but not always. guess it depends on how the pic is posted. there are directions for making it upright though.

If your picture comes out sideways on your IPad, you can delete it, then go back to the photo in your album. Select the photo, click edit, and use the tools there to change the direction, then go to the board, and try to upload it again. It should now be right side up.

So many thanks to others who have posted different ways to make pictures "stand up straight". And thanks much to osewme for the thread. It calms me to see the pictures right side up.

That should work for me. Thanks!
