Baby carrier cover

Anyone make these? Did you use a purchased pattern or did you just custom fit it? Our nephew/his wife are expecting their first child-a girl! Yeah! So I am "girling" it up for them.

There is a tutorial at make-it-do.com for a carrier cover.

Oh, thanks so much, mltquilt! It is perfect. Now off to do some more stash busting moves.

I have made one. My Daughter loves it and all her friends want one. But I never even made one for my oldest daughter for my second grand baby. Glad you found a pattern!

Could you post a link to this pattern? Thank you very much.

Moda Bake Shop has a free pattern, look under "recipes", not sure exactly what category, baby? don't think quilts... the fabric used is the Moda "Sophie" line It very cute and not too complicated.;)
Good luck!

Update: the pattern I was speaking of is no longer in the Moda bake Shop website, but I did find it when I googled "Sophie car seat quilt" Sorry for the inconvenience :o. JB

Here is the tute I used. http://www.sumossweetstuff.com/2010/...-tent.html?m=1 If you have access to the carrier you plan to use it on...it is good to check the placement of the straps...some are different.
