Now they are talking about rolling brownouts because people are using too much power, trying to stay warm. The electric company spokesman said they expect users to adjust their usage accordingly.
Basically, choose whether you want to freeze now or freeze later. I can't even get one room up to 60 degrees today. I want to be warm again! |

Amazing all these cold temps we are having all over the USA. Got into the 20's last night in South Texas and froze the water in the bucket for my outside cats...brr! still cold for us & we're not used to it.

Yes, we in FL do have heaters & jeackets, but is hasn't gotten any warmer than 40 today and that is NOT normal for us! Brrrr.
There fore, I had to make myself a jacket today! All I have is sweatshirt jackets. We even saw some flurries today. |
We live in south florida and there was an inch of ice in my horses water trough this morning.
