Enough already!

I saw an article about that on CNN.com. The authorities were cautioning people not to pick them up. They said a man driving a station wagon loaded up several of the dormant iguanas which awakened while he was driving, then crawled up onto his back, almost causing a wreck! Here's the link:

I meant, what was the guy in the station wagon thinking...not the iguana...with those teeth...I think I know what he may have been thinking after a hibernation!

Now they are talking about rolling brownouts because people are using too much power, trying to stay warm. The electric company spokesman said they expect users to adjust their usage accordingly.

Basically, choose whether you want to freeze now or freeze later. I can't even get one room up to 60 degrees today. I want to be warm again!

sorry moonpi! These are things I guess none of us have thought about.
I didn't know that it stayed so warm down there, that ppl didn't own coats, and many have no heaters. yikes!
What a difference a couple hundred miles makes.

Amazing all these cold temps we are having all over the USA. Got into the 20's last night in South Texas and froze the water in the bucket for my outside cats...brr! still cold for us & we're not used to it.
