Hi folks, I've not been checking in lately and was missing seeing what everyone has been working on. This weekend DH and I are celebrating my birthday and mother's day by going to Old Quebec City.

You'll enjoy Quebec City. My French is not great but everyplace seemed to speak both English and French. They really cater to tourists and there's lots to see. I was on a great walking tour with a university professor as tour guide and loved all the old churches and museums and historical sites. It was fun to go in the front door of a shop on one street, go down a flight of stairs and exit out the back door on a different street one level below. There's lots of quaint shops and great restaurants.
