Glad you had a safe trip, sounds like you need some vinegar put on you.

squilter 07-13-2010 09:25 PM

Julia58, how do you apply the vinegar? BTW, my real name is Julia.

Hi Julia: With cotton balls, or whatever you have, washcloth, cotton cloth, it really works, you might smell like vinegar but it really works. Cider Vinegar, I have never tried the white vinegar, so i'm not sure on that kind, wish you luck on getting any rest tonight.

As a youngster I was like that every summer. Ow, ow, ow! You can google sunburn solutions too. You'll get lots of suggestions.

Yes white works. Make sure it is a soft cloth or something not scratchy. I even pour it in my hand to apply. After a few times if will be all better. Mayonaze wooks too but it is a nasty mess. The smell goes away fast.

If it's your back and shoulders, soak a towel in vinegar and lay it on. Be ready for a WHeeesssss, it's cold. (that was a big intake of air)

Witch Hazel is great for sun burn.
