Sending good thoughts your way, but I know many people who have had knee replacements after putting them off for a long time. All say IT'S THE BEST THING THEY'VE DONE. No more pain. The important thing is to really work hard on the rehab. I still hope you don't have to do it, but if you do, don't put it off!

I hope they can fix the problem without surgery, but if you need surgery, then you should have it, at least that way you're not in constant pain.

Sending all the good thoughts I can muster your way! Hope you find out soon something that will eliminate all the pain!

Good luck. I know it is not a fun thing.

I have had trouble with my knee since I broke my tibia right under my knee, over a year ago. I may have to have the shots starting next week. Not looking forward to it, afraid of needles. Wierd since I am a hand quilter and stick myself all the time.

One of my friends, when she had her first knee replacement, her ortho Dr called knee replacement an "orthopedic face lift"! LOL It was too - after years of pain, she felt so much better that she walked "taller" & the pinched stress look on her face disappeared & the skin on her face even looked smoother! :D

Thanks for all the good thoughts. Went to the Dr on Friday and I will not have to have my knee replaced. They are going to do surgery and remove the damaged cartilage in my knee. The MRI showed it is tattered and torn. They will trim away the torn parts that are floating around and getting lodged where they don't belong and causing pain. The best news is I won't be off four months (like with a knee replacement ) but just two weeks. Still don't like having surgery, but at least this will have a faster recovery rate. Thanks for all your great thought and prayer. My surgery is on June 18th. Thinks of me then.
