I recently received notification that someone was trying to access my bank account. The strange thing is, what they tried to use as "my" logon was my quilting board name. I do not use that name for anything else. Ironic!?? Needless to say, they were not able to access it. Just be careful with all info you put on any website. Never know who may be trying to steal your money or identity.

You may have someone taping you with a keylogger program. Don't know that that's your problem, but sounds like it might be. Not sure what to tell you to do to check for this either, but am sure someone else will be able to give you some good advice. Sorry to hear about your problem. What people will try these days amazes me....

We just found out our credit card was compromised by someone out of Virginia. Charged $3009.00 from Sears. I tell you---some people just don't use their time wisely. I think Sears fraud dept. caught it, as did our credit card fraud, so they never got the stuff they tried to charge. Terrible!!!!

It's getting to be a scarry world.

A while ago a lady emailed me she met a young couple in Sears while she was looking at a lovely carpet. They flat out told her that with her cooperation, they would buy over 500 dollars of stuff SHE wants, if she would buy it from them for 300 dollars. They planed to receive it, sell it to her and walk out on everything they owed. And pay for it with a credit card, probably also a Sears Card.
Said she had a ball choosing things she had wanted and not been able to afford. She got their names and address/phone number, and earnestly made THEM promise not to tell her name to anyone. Then she went straight to the police!!

Things people will do for money are horrible.

Of course, she took the chance that this couple were FROM the police, but said she was darn careful to go straight to her local PD with no stops.
