We have an east facing bay window in our living room. We have purchased pleated blinds for the windows, but I would like a valance, cornice board, or "something" for a window treatment to make it look right. I was hoping to be able to either sew or drape fabric around a fancy curtain rod... Does anyone have a suggestion or a site with examples.... The window opening is 116x54. Thanks Quilter 1234

post a picture and your likely to get a lot more help with this, hon.
I have had bay windows, but it was so long ago, I don't remember what kind of curtains/valances we had.
I know we did, bc it was a bedroom facing other houses
I'm wondering if the curtains were the usual and went across the whole opening. You want something more stylish than that.
If I come across anything, I'll let you know. :-D

Here's a site that has a lot different ideas to perhaps feed your imagination and get you pondering...
