Today is lovely though windy. Sunday and Monday were cold. We went from 100+ to 50+ almost overnight.

It is in the high 80's today and in the 70's tonight. I;ll send you some warm weather if you send me some cold weather. I'm sick of the heat. Been to HOT here this summer. Lived here in florida since 1965 and still don't care for it.

Today, Wednesday, it is beautiful. Took all of the linens off the beds, washed and hung them out to dry. Love the smell of freshly line dried sheets!

Still Summertime temps here in Lakeland.

It is cooling during the night, but we are finally having summer here in NW Oregon

Hot (though not as hot as August) but horribly dry and low humidity with heavy wind gusts. Please pray for Texas and Oklahoma and the people who have lost loved ones and their homes in our wildfires!

We are having a cold snap here too in Alabama after Tropical Storm Lee came through. It went from being 100 degrees to a high of 65 yesterday and may get to 70 today, but I doubt it with all the cloud cover we have. But I love the cold weather and can't wait until this horrible heat goes away for a while.

Finally under triple digits. Yeah! Now if the wind will just stay calm so they can get the fires out and the smoke to dissipate we'll be great.
Getting really antsy to get back to my cabin and to be sure everything's ok with the candle shop which is also in the evacuated area.

We were in the 50's this morning and what a blessing that is. This summer we have had 80 days so far of over 100 with 112 being the highest so far. More may come, but we are having a break. Low 90's the past two days seems like a cold spell. Got to open my doors and let some fresh air in for a while, but had to close them and use the air cond. again. Pray for the Texas Fires. Over 1000 homes have been lost so far and several of the fires are still not contained.
