"Bear" in screen name

There are 266 members with "b-e-a-r" in their screen names - I think of those; six people the b-e-a-r- may be part of their real names. Anyway - of those 266 members - 145 have never posted. Of those 266, I seem to be the most "talkative".

And don't you stop:) I love reading your posts, ruminations and thoughts!

I agree with marge954!

nativetexan 06-06-2017 03:23 PM

ha, ha. maybe you are "speaking" for all of them.

cashs_mom 06-06-2017 03:38 PM

Keep on postin', bear. I love "bear" posts.

Ditto, ditto, ditto!! Daily look forward to what direction your brain is taking that day, LOL!

So how did you come up with your screen name? I've often wondered how you pronounce it?

Bear Is Gray?

Bearis Gray?

Be Aris Gray?

Teddybear Lady 06-06-2017 10:50 PM

I got my "bear" name, "Teddybear Lady" from people because I was making small stuffed bears and giving them away. I still do. The little bears are about 6 inches tall. They fit into the palm of your hand. I put a little poem I made up on them..."When you're feeling kind of lonely, and you're feeling kind of blue, Just hold me close to your heart and remember God loves you"! Over the last few years I've made and given away over 3000 of them.

What a wonderful and amazing kind thing to do. A little cheer is all it takes and belief and you put it all into a 6 inch bear. So thoughtful and talented. Wish I could think of something like that when I see these kind of things, myself is dull in comparison, lol.

At the time i signed up for the board, i had a cat named Bear. He had dark gray fur.
It was the first thing i thought of when asked for a screen name.

Bear was "Blueberry" because of his coat color - but it eventually became " Bear."

We sometimes call DH "Papa Bear" - his hair is more white than gray.

I miss my cats. DH is still living.

Wow ! I like the poem you send along with them.

Would you be willing to share your pattern? Do you have any pictures?

quilterpurpledog 06-07-2017 03:43 AM

I always appreciate your comments and have wondered about your screen name. In fact, I am curious about so many of them. I think you have touched lots of hearts with your bears-how very thoughtful. We all need to be reminded that God loves us. Please keep sharing with us.

Karamarie 06-07-2017 04:09 AM

Teady bear Lady. Could you please post a picture of one of those bears with the poem. Thanks

annette1952 06-07-2017 07:33 AM

Bearisgray.... I love your posts so keep up the good work!

Teddybear Lady...I also would love to see a pic of your bear with your poem. They sound adorable!

Boston1954 06-07-2017 08:42 AM

Interesting. I once looked up Boston to see who else thinks like me.

Have you ever researched your birthday to see what famous people have the same one as yourself?

(later) I just looked and there are 13 with "Boston" in them. I am the only one with more than 500 posts.

Doggramma 06-07-2017 10:14 AM

Well that is some very interesting information. I always find it curious that the majority of members don't post.

feline fanatic 06-07-2017 10:18 AM

I too always enjoy your topics Bear. They often make me look. LOL. As a result, I had to go look up how many users had feline in their screen name. Only 5 and it would appear I am the only active one. At the time I signed up I had 5 cats. I am now down to two 17 year old cats. One is sickly the other is very healthy and you would never guess he was 17 years old. I am in the process of increasing the ranks by one.

sJens 06-07-2017 11:56 AM

If I see Bearisgray on the top of a post, I always know it will be interesting to read.

Teddybear Lady 06-07-2017 11:03 PM

I'll get a picture and post it soon. Right now I have to put the binding on my grandson's quilt. He's 3 months old and I'm kind of slow about getting it done.

Gerbie 06-08-2017 02:25 AM

Interesting, I never thought about checking how many had similar or same name as my screen name, doubt if there are any. I wanted to have one with purple, but there were already several apparently and the one I tried wouldn't take. Where did you check?

I always wonder the same. I joined just last August and love this board! I think I am the only member that starts with NZ, but I'd have to check to confirm.

popover 06-08-2017 05:01 AM

I'm a member of the Bear Clan, is that close?

I was wrong, there are several members that start with NZ. Barely any seem to post anything, if at all.... I do wonder why?

Wonnie 06-08-2017 03:49 PM

If you send a pattern would we be able to use your pattern and spread cheer randomly in our little corner of the world??? Thanks!
