This is just before one that we had but it lasted only 10 minutes. It had straight line winds that were 100 mph and hail the size of a nickel. Put 230,000 out of power for 5 days. However the sky was beautiful just before it arrived.

This one defines the phrase "the calm before the storm" It's beautiful

I love these. I paint fabric for skies and even bought a book with cloud pictures when I got started. I'll have to give these colors a try! Thanks for sharing them.

I was the amazingly lucky recipient of a huge lot of lovely landscape and other fabrics from Applique last year...I just wanted to add these pics are beautiful! We have a lot of stormy weather here in the panhandle area of Texas where I live...I also want to add if anyone can make a quilt from that pic it would be Applique! Sorry if I am embarrassing her, but I have seen some pics of her amazing landscape/scene quilts!
