How do you handle a hubby that comes in and wants you to stop what you are doing (sewing on a quilt) and asks you to help him do something, right now!

The only one that interrupts me is the dogs. I get very irritatated and say just a minute; rarely works; they still bark.

I just go help, but mine doesn't bother me too much when I'm sewing. Not sure if it's cause he knows better or he just doesn't do much!

I hope he does the same for you when you need help.

Huh ?? did you say something ???

LOL just kidding I don't have a hubby so don't have that problem

If my husband comes & asks me for help, I know he must really need help. Cause he does most things by himself, even when I know he needs help.
So I go help him quickly!

Wish I had someone in my life to interupt me.....Be Blessed you have someone there.

Happy Holidays.

I say, "If I kiss you goodbye, will you go away?" Just kidding. He doesn't ask for help unless he needs it, and right now he's remodelling a bathroom that must be done before Christmas, so I drop everything and help out.

Ditto! I sure could have used someone to help put up the Xmas decorations. But then, again, I' now used to doing things my way & when someone else helps they don't always want to do things the way I want them done. And then, there is the not having to clean up after someone else and cooking & eating when I want.

I ask him to give me a second to come to a good stopping point, and then I go help him. He needed help, or he wouldn't have asked.
