Having all of our kids and grandkids in one place at the same time & watching the 6 kids sort through all the cookies while reminiscing about their childhoods.

Spending time with the family.

Having my three brothers and their families here the week after Christmas. Because my husband can't travel anymore, I only see them once a year or every two years during the holidays, and oh how I miss them!

My best gift was the treadle machine my son and DIL found for me. It truly is a beauty.

Hubby and I didnt buy for each other this year. Too many things going on, Holidays, sons college graduation. But our son and his NOW fiance' (as of New Years day) had Christmas dinner at their place with her family there and we had the best time. This was their first time doing a holiday meal and they did such a great job and they were proud of how it all worked out. Just seeing the satisfaction on their faces, made what seemed like a bleak holiday into one of the best times I can remember since my parents passed.

I got an early Christmas present in November - my Brother Innovis 2000 Laura Ashley sewing machine. I really got to enjoy it during my school's winter break. It ends tonight, so it is back to work tomorrow. :(

Well my best gift all worked out and done. We bought a new home in Raleigh nc...it is so exciting...our son lives here too....one mile away...and our daughter is five miles from our ct home

My best gift this year was the Tin Lizzie 18 longarm quilting machine. I am having a blast.
