The Best Mother's Day Ever!!

I'd like to wish you all a very happy Mother's Day weekend!

Tomorrow I will be watching my daughter graduate with her Bachelor of Science Degree in nutrition. This is the best Mother's Day gift ever! She is graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.87GPA, which represents a lot of dedication and hard work. She had bio-chemistry and organic chemistry and pathophysiology, to name of few of the courses she took. I am so proud of her. She started college a few years ago, but dropped out after a great personal tragedy that took a huge emotional toll. She lost her way for a few years, but moved back home with us and went back to school. Her son just turned 3, and he has changed her world. Becoming a dietitian has been a dream of hers for many years, and it is thrilling for me to watch her blossom into who she was meant to be. Thank you for letting me brag...

Congratulations! It's such a blessing to see your children do well! We had the same thing, it takes a few years and gives you a few extra grey hairs but once in awhile you get to have that "maybe I taught you after all" moment!
