In between quilting I created these fellows they are made of hand dyed felt and as you can see they have their Christmas ribbons on all ready for the celebration of my birthday on the 25 December, hope you like them.

carol i love your giraffe. ( the clown is cute too.) but the giraffe is awesome. if he needs a new home just let me know. i am currently working on a giraffe quilt.

My Giraffe has buttons to attach the legs but the "spots" are wool that I have felted with a wire brush into the solid felt. At the last count I have made 20 giraffes, you can make them out of Fat Quarters in really bright colours the body in one colour and the legs in another, they are from a pattern by Melle and Me. I have made over 6 clowns, the hair is a little tedious to do but I love them they are "Little People".

I love the giraffe and I am sure my daughter who is into giraffes would love it also (she is 34years old) but still loves them. I am into dolphins.

I do not sell them I just give them away, I make them for unsuspecting children as a gift for no special occasion, it is rewarding to see how much they love them when they were not expected.

If you would like I will make one for you in the New Year. They weigh practically nothing and would cost very little to send to the US from "downunder", it would be my pleasure as I have so much enjoyment from this website.

Do you ladies know we have "Oprah" over here at the moment with around 300 fellow Americans, they are having a Ball.
