Bias binding saga
1 Attachment(s)
This old bib apron panel has been around a long time. I thought I would " kill 2 birds with 1 stone." Use up the panel and use up my blue bias binding......not even close. I think it will still be around after I am gone.:D

At least you used some, and it looks great!
nicely done

Cute apron & nice touch with the blue binding.
Embrace the binding and let it become your signature finish!
LOL, lovely work. |
Looks great to me.
Love the apron and am impressed with the size of binding spool!
I need two of these aprons...one for the kitchen and one for the sewing room!!
Love that apron and that spool of binding!
I also love the apron and would really like the pattern if available. I use an old adult bib from nursing home while I am cooking. Thanks for sharing.

This apron panel by Joan Kessler for Concord Fabrics Inc. was printed so I just cut out the pieces on the lines and added the bias binding to give it more substance. No pattern required, sorry.
Great looking apron and the blue bias binding is perfect! Looks like you'll have lots more of the binding to make many more aprons!
I have that very same apron and have used it for years. I sewed a round pocket on the top of the apron. I made it so long ago I can't even remember where I got the panel.
I believe I would be designing a quilt just to go with the bind! Your apron is very pretty and the binds are great! I only wish I had a roll of bias binding like that.
Very cute, though! And now you've given me an idea what to do with the binding tape I've got to use up somehow - thanks!
