I think the season is off to a good start.

adorabowe 07-07-2011 10:25 PM

Aw Big Brother Australia was stopped because too many scandalous things kept happening. Hope your season goes better.

kwhite 07-08-2011 02:41 AM

Lord I can't stand Rachel. What on earth does he see in her???

lnikkers52 07-08-2011 03:06 AM

I just don't like any show that keeps bringing back old players. give someone new a chance to win. And Evil Dick is back and cackling Rachel. Might have to pass this year

Shouldn't, now that local stuff has gone digital, you need a tv that gets digital channels and an antenna.
Or a converter box.

Shows like this are the reason soaps are on the way out. Much cheaper to not have to pay writers and actors, and "reality" comes out more outrageous.

It's not the only reason soap operas are on the way out, people who watch the soaps are the older generation, the younger ones want the talk shows - gossip!

Yeah, BB is my summertime guilty pleasure---although the twists this year are already game changing!

DebsShelties 07-08-2011 03:42 AM

I have watched BB since the very beginning with Chicken George and Eddie.
Love the show, it has come a long way over the years.
The very first season was different, a tater clock that worked, no hot tub, they gave them things like a giant jig saw puzzle etc to keep them occupied.
They didn't have a second story with the HOH room, no have not room, no slop, was Peanut Butter and Jelly.
Oh the memories lol.

Ripped on Scotch 07-08-2011 04:37 AM

I love Jeff & Jordan. Can't wait to see all the twists for this year!

mash43quilter 07-08-2011 05:30 AM

Yes Mam, since day 1. It beats the other shows that are so depressing, with blood, killings, rapes etc...

sandpat 07-08-2011 06:07 AM

I feel better knowing that some of you watch too. My DH makes fun of me! I admit to being alittle put off nowadays by some of the language, but its just something fun to watch. With the new twists this summer...hmmmm...should be really interesting!

valsma 07-08-2011 07:13 AM

I watched the first show last night it was okay but really Rachel? Why did they bring that bimbo back? OMG and the laugh can we take another season of that? Evil Dick ought to make it interesting, I actully liked his ways. He always got the best of those he went after. I think a force to deal with this new group is going to be the broad who is an outdoors executive. Maybe it is the way she talks or just her voice. She is right though, if the retreads get an upper hand they will pick off the newbies.

I just realized i'm getting sucked in.

Yah, and drats!!!!! Just sat down and watched Julie Chen for about two minutes and the phone rang. Some neighbors wanted to come up and dig out some of my flowers (perennials) (we are having a new wall put in and that will eliminate a garden) and I didn't get back in until 9:00 and then I ended up watching Extreme Chefs or whatever it is called. Kinda good. But, we have On Demand, so I will be able to watch it either sometime today or tomorrow! I love Big Brother! I noticed that the couple that was on either the last time or the time before are on and I wanted to find out if they are still together. Can't wait to relax and watch it! Edie

kind of like soaps, you either like 'em or you don't ;-)

I'm not much into the "reality" shows....to me, just a waste of time that I could do quilting!

This is the only one I like to watch, and it doesn't hinder my quilting time because I'm usually done by that time in the evening ;-)

Jates 07-08-2011 09:34 AM

And what about the bald metal head with his RRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! He almost makes Rachel's laugh tolerable.....almost! LOL

Dotha 07-08-2011 09:35 AM

Yes, it is the show that I really wish that I would not be so addicted to. Maybe it will get my mind off of the awful Casey Anthony thing.

Hated to see ED come back in, as well as Brendon and Racheal. Love Jeff and Jordan.

I have a spoiler but won't spill it here unless you want to hear it....regarding Evil Dick. It is a big story, for sure. I guess you could PM me if you want to know.

A couple others said things that made me think they really hav enotwatched it before.

Yes Hubby recorded it. He loves that show.

lreade 07-08-2011 04:06 PM

I Love the show. Better then reruns!!!!. Saw last nights show. Wonder if ED & Rachel will play against each other to get one or the other out or work together to get newbies out first????? Personally, hope they play against each other as I dislike them both!

It's now on the news wires now that Evel Dick is gone. An announcement will be made on Wednesdays show.

Jannie 07-08-2011 07:10 PM

Watched it once & it is not my idea of entertainment so won't be watching.

You should be able to see the regular episodes on CBS regular network. The After Dark is 3 hours running that is on a cable channel- I don't have the cable but I watch the network.

quilterguy27 07-12-2011 09:44 AM

I'm addicted. I've never missed an episode. A couple of years I even watched the 24 hour feeds. I think I just have too much time on my hands. LOL
