I was given this plant a couple of years ago. I had never seen a blue Rose of Sharon. I have several other colors of them, but nothing like this one.

I had one...lasted three yrs and then died, but everyone who posted the house commented on it.......now where it was there are some sucker branches sprouting...I wonder if they will become another blue .....

The house where I grew up had one of these in the yard--pretty!

I have a varigated Rose of Sharon in my front yard. I believe it is several bushes together as it is very prolific.

Is it an Althea bush? Looks like mine. we tried to actually buy another hibiscus and went to the Nursery and found a Hardy Hibiscus. It turned out to be another Althea. they are kin to each other i guess. just smaller than the dinner plate size hibiscus i wanted to find again.

Very pretty. I would love to find one. I had a Hardy Hibiscus with huge pink flowers; it lasted 5 years and died.

Beautiful. My daughters old house had a lot of Rose of Sharons. I love them and so did the hummingbirds.

Its a beautiful bush. We had a couple of those growing in our yard in Denver. Wonder if they are still flourishing.
I currently have a purple Hibiscus in a pot in my yard. It may be in the same family.
