When you are getting low on bobbin thread, do you speed up hoping to get to the end before you run out??

Yes, I do. LOL

I have the Old Singers so I can't peek to see. I have no idea when I'm running out of thread until I do. Keeps life interesting that way.

My sewing machine had an alert when bobbin thread is low. I keep pushing the okay button and hope I finish section I'm on before it is actually empty.

Years ago, my Home Ec teacher told me when I ran out of bobbin thread, that I did not sew fast enough! :o)

I think I slow down when I know it's coming. Sometimes if I'm not chain sewing, I don't even see it. My new machine has it hidden underneath. Suppose I'll have to be more attentive!
