Is there a limit to how many bookmarks can be saved?

Sadiemae 05-26-2011 07:57 AM

There is a limit, but I am not sure what the number is. This is why you have the MY PAGES section that you can use.

I sure hope not. . . I have lots of them!!

Huh...learn something new every day! Hadn't even noticed the My Pages option and not sure how to use it?

This is what Admin posted quite awhile ago:
Bookmarks allow at least 75 entries. After that, not all of them would be shown.

I'm also unsure how it works. I went to it and it had a blank line to put in a title. But if you put the topic name that you want to save, will it save that whole post?

First I make a title for the page that I am creating, like Quilt blocks, FMQ, batting, or whatever I want to put on that page. Then I copy and paste the URL of whatever I want--it could be a web page or a topic on QB that I want to save. If you go to Crafybear's Pages it will give you a lot of ideas. She has done an awesome job! http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_pa...p?usernum=6442
(Craftybear, I hope you don't mind that I used your example here.)

Thank-you, Sadiemae. I appreciate the info. So basically it is like a folder on the computer, right?

Sadiemae 05-28-2011 04:10 PM

A folder is a good way to describe it.
