I don't know or can't figure out how to use the Bookmark.

Just click on the word, and add your own description. Then click on Save.
I should add that then it's under My Bookmarks when you want to go there again.

When you are on the page you want to bookmark, just click on the word Bookmark. It will only work for here on the board :D:D:D

After you click on the word Bookmark, look just below the word. It should say description. Write what you want there. Then click on the word Save. It should then make a bookmark for you under MY bookmarks.

Don't be discouraged.

Are you trying to set Bookmarks on the Quilting Board or on Internet Explorer?

To bookmark a topic on the Quilting Board, you must be logged in to your account.

Then, open the topic you want to bookmark.

Click the word Bookmark at the top left of the topic. When you do that, a new line opens directly underneath that says Description: and has an area you can type in. You can either type in a description for your own reference, or leave it blank. Next to that is a button that says public. You can select either yes or no. If you select yes, then others can view your bookmark. If you select no, then only you can view that bookmark. Finally, click the Save button at the end of that line.

To access your saved bookmarks on the Quilting Board, you must be logged in to your account. At the top of the page, directly under "Quilting Board - The Quilter's Message Board" there are 3 rows of words. In the second row, click on the one that says My Bookmarks. This will take you to a list of your bookmarks on the quilting board.

You may now click on the link for the topic you want to revisit.

If you are wanting to set bookmarks in Internet Explorer, that is a little different. This link discusses how to set internet bookmarks, or Favorites: http://www.easycomputertips.com/arti...favorites.html

I hope this helps. :)

Here is a tip for using bookmarks that I use. When there is a link in a thread that I want to go to later, I copy/paste the link into the description. It has saved me time by not having to search that bookmarked thread for hte link.
