I have complete sets of 1961 Enclycopedia's, Science books, Book of knowledge and all annuals for these.. Would like to see someohe use them but expense of shipping is too much for me. Do you know of any organizations that might be interested. Otherwise they will have to go to recycle.

Unfortunately, outdated encyclopedias are of no value as the information is not correct. Just think how sciences, etc. have changed in 50 yrs. I am a retired high school librarian & we never kept encyclopedias more than 5 yrs.

Have you contacted your local library or local schools? They are 50 years old, so they may not be in great demand.

What about Freecycle?

Maybe someone that home school kids would be interested in them

They are still full of great useful information even though some of it might be outdated it is still relevant. How about the Re-store or Salvation army store. Just drop them off.

I still use my World book set from 1964. I'm just full of old information. HA!
peace

wish I was closer cause I think they would be great to have in a home library.
I'm in south Missouri though!

I don't think the Salvation Army would appreciate that.

Freecycle or Recycle.
