Books - Mrs. Murhpy

A series of mystery books by Rita Mae Brown. I was wondering if you had read any of them, and did they keep your interest.

Thanks.

I liked them a lot. - the a imals talk but the humans do not hear them.

I also liked her ones with Sister - not a nun - the one who ran fox hunts - the foxes are only chased - not killed - in these books.

Once in a while the author goes into "lecture mode" - i think she might be an environmentalist.

I haven't read the Mrs. Murphy series, but I have read a few with the cat (Sneaky Pie, I think). It's been a while since I read them but I remember them as being cute and a nice comfy before bed read.

I have read all the books by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown(the cat). Love them.

If you can, read the books "in order" - but each book does stand alone.

I have read all of them, except for the last one A Hiss Before Dying. My DH has read them all, too. They are good cozy mysteries. I also like her foxhunting series with Sister. I think the foxes' conversations are clever and a good read.

I have the collection of the books. The Cat That..........Forgot author's name, but they were delightful to read....

I read the books and really enjoyed them. But the last few I was a bit tired of the scenario but in the beginning I just read one after another. Not sure who tried to make them into a movie but it was done so poorly it kind of ruined the books for me. They tried to make it "cute" and made fools out of the people, it just didn't work.

The "Cat Who" books by Lillian Jackson Braun were quite fun too.
