I have no doubt that this is a common refrain, but as I viewed my dashboard when getting off work, and took note of the 112 degrees in the shade reading, I was filled with disbelief. I am so looking forward to fall!

I think we all are! A little rain might make this heat more bearable.

You betcha - mine was 110º - yuck yuck yuck. We have at least 4 weeks of heat and then we can pray for relief and possibly some wet stuff.

112 here and need rain bad. I know parts of of Texas is real, real bad. It seams like this heat just won't brake. Can't remember when we had our last rain.

Well my part of Texas feels like I'm in a sauna. First time in my life I wondered how little of clothes I could get away with wearing.I even refused to cook today. It says it will be hotter tomorrow.

I just stepped outside and it's nasty. I checked the weather channel and it's 98 but feels like 108 and it's 8:21pm.

Oh,my.I be getting one.Or put a wet towel over or in front of a fan.It will cool the air a bunch. And you can also if you have a breeze, hang a wet sheet up over the doorway. It will blow cool air in too.I have trees, and get the hose and spray water up in them to act like a evaporative cooler. It's 115 here and 60 dewpoint. You sweat just going out the door.We have to pack a towel around to keep wiping off. It's brutal here on the mexico border,WHEW!

I feel so guilty that so many people are suffering from the heat. Here is the S.F. Bay area we are having a very mild summer to say the least. The fog has really kept the temperatures down. Ii mostly stays in the 70's where I'm at. Our "warmer" weather usually comes in Sept and Oct.

lol...that's why everyone loves San Francisco! Of course, San Diego does have the most perfect weather year round. We have a trip next month to Toronto and I can't wait.
