I remember when I lived in Alaska as a child, the poppies blooming through the snow every spring. Yours are very pretty.

Beautiful poppies and I like the way you are using the wash tubs for containers. A lovely way to have a garden.

Beautiful poppies.

So pretty. I have poppies from my grandmother that are perennials. The plant must be about 60 yrd. at least. Will have to look for some annuals as I have many different containers to use.

Perfect flower for the 4th of July.

Thank you all for looking, and your comments. I hope they brought you pleasant thoughts as they do me. My Oriental poppies died out, I just dabble a bit.........calla

Your poppies are gorgeous! They are perfect for the 4th of July. I would like to find some that are perennials. This summer I am trying to get rid of quack grass that got started in my flower beds when I had a fractured vertebrae in the lumbar. The only thing that will kill quack grass is round-up. So I am carefully using a foam brush and just touching the quack grass with round-up.

Grandma Bonnie, are you in Michigan southwest Mi? My sister in law lives in southwest Mi and your flowers look just like something she would have.
