Brother PE525
 

Hi, received a Brother PE 525 embroidery machine for Christmas. Does anyone have this machine? Any pointers? I am a complete novice regarding embroidery.

I don't have one, but I have learned the hard way to take whatever classes are offered with the dealer, even if you have to go a few times!

my Pfaff dealer has classes once a month if you buy from her
I have 3 new Pfaff's in the last 10 years, just started going last Jan
also has classes for embroidery machines too
they are free

I don't have that one, but just got a PE770 that I will start using just as soon as I can get a place for it to set up. There are quite a few Youtube videos that I am finding helpful for getting started. Here is the list that came up with I searched for PE525 on Youtube:

Go to Brother's website, they have tutorials on all of their machines, google it, lots of you tube videos on different machines. Also, check for Brother representives in your are to take classes. Some shops don't care what machine you have but some require you to know about your machine. good luck.
