Keep warm and keep quilting!

My problem is a bad regulator. We are on propane. Repair man came out to adjust stove, found out the pressure isn't right for water heater, furnace or cookstove. Now they are going to put in new regulator at propane tank. We could have been gassed to death.

We had a new heat pump installed in Nov this year. Was doing what you describe. It has 3 heat strips. The heat strips come on when the outside temp is 30/31. Only one of our 3 strips was coming on. The other two were cross wired at the factory so they would not come on. Simple fix for the repairman and sooooo much warmer when the unit can perform like it was designed to. Just sayin. Good luck.

did anybody see house slippers sold at Bed Bath and Beyond that keep your feet warm or cool?? they sense your foot temp and work to make you warmer or cooler. odd but I may look them up again. the only trouble was women's were white and men in black and i didn't read anywhere that they could be tossed in the washing machine.

My hubby is an HVAC guy also.
Tips: shut your thermostat off, even take out the batteries (check and see if they should be replaced)
Let it rest for a minute.
put back in and let the thing reset. Sometimes this can trick the furnace into something...
just heard my hubby say this before.
and the reset button on the furnace.

I can relate. I have two rooms that are not heated. Guess which rooms I am in the porocess of downsizing????

Update....

DH arrived home about midnight. His plan for today is not only to get the furnace working properly again, but also to hook up the plumbing for the latest "zone" of floor heat. This was where he was on this project when he had to leave last week. YAY...REAL warmth again. LOL
