Brutus the bunny

we hand fed him as a baby 3 years ago.We do not see much of him in the summer but when fall comes he is around close to the house looking for treats. He followed us around the yard like a puppy when he was a baby.My grand daughter Ashley put her pear core out for him before school yesterday morning and a little while later I got this pick.

That is so sweet that you took care of him when he was a baby, so now he still remembers and comes back. Bless you for doing this!

I am in good company. I feed finches, wild birds, hummingbirds, squirrels and whatever comes around. I took in two feral cats, the last one turned 13 this month. The other is gone, lived to 16 years. Neither would have lived that long on their own. I am very soft hearted as you others are too.
You Bunny is very cute. Good of you to care for him. |
Such a cutie!!!

You're a good mom, what a sweet gift of nature. Thank you for caring for him.

Thanks for showing us "Brutus" (I was expecting one of those giant Dutch rabbits), but your wild bunny is just so very sweet.

We have lots of fun watching all of our yard critters here.

lol...at 6:30 this morning I had to wait to feed the cats and birds until the teenager skunk decided he wanted to leave the porch. He doesn't care what we do (bang on the door, the wall or holler at him)...he just looks at us real cute and then slowly goes back down the stairs. A lot of times, he turns around and watches to make sure I really come out before he goes all the way down.
I've been told by the "rehab" people they "probably" wouldn't every spray at us because we're "theirs". sigh...I hate the thought of paying to have them hauled off (like we did last year) because we've also been told another one will just show up and take their place. The cats just walk by the skunks and they pay no attention to the cats either. What good guard cats we have. We have brave bunnies that show up every now and then too that look like your bunny does. With a couple outside cats though, they don't stick around. |
