I have quilckly went to iron something I wanted to wear in my unders and have ironed a spot on my somach.

You would loose your bet. Had the same thing happen to me...and I still have a scar from it, several years later.

Yesterday while ironing some of my fabrics, the iron fell on the floor from the board and it was less than an inch from my foot. My heartbeat wouldn't come to normal for a few mins after that :)

Glad to see that I am not alone. However, I do not wish that anyone get burned in any way.

I was helping my Grandma once way back in the
hills where we didn't have electricity. The irons were
called "Sad Irons" for an excellent reason. I picked up
one from the wood stove and put it down on the padded
table, then reached over to pull the ironing towards me,
and got a burn on where one day my boobs would be.
I'm 76 and still have a whitish scar on my right one.
I think Grandma put honey on it and cold cloths.

Yep I have never ironed in my hoot ware. But I have to iron in the living room, as this duplex is very small. God bless.

I have war scars from the curling iron. Never fails I drop it at least once a week. Luck has it I don't burn myself every time. No irons tho, I probably end up in the ER
