butterick pattern 3515
I was so surprised to learn that Butterick uses the same number for more than one pattern.

I guess there's only so many number you can make out of the 4 digits, then they start reusing numbers again. What confusion!

I just did a Google search on Butterick pattern 3515. It helps to click on "images" to see photos of the pattern covers, then click on the ones you are interested in to visit the websites displaying that photo.
What I think is even worse is sewing machine companies using the same model numbers for both vintage and new machines! They do not have the excuse of running out of numbers!!! ;) The Bernina 830 comes to mind...... |
It never occurred to me that the numbers would be reused - now I know!
I really do not understand Bernina using the same model numbers for their machines. That just seems so - - - "what were they thinking???" |
I think naming the new Bernina 830 is not silly, just plain stupid. How hard would it be to give the machine a name like New 830? LOL
