Cake Decorating

Before I started skydiving and quilting, my passion was cake decorating. I don't decorate many cakes anymore. The grandkids birthdays account for two a year. Apparently I haven't forgotten how.

We were asked to bring refreshments to a book club that reminded us of the book. Soccer was a major theme in Britt Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman. It was a really enjoyable book.

That cake is awesome!!!!!!!
I loved that book as well. I really like that author. He has such quirky characters.

terrific cake! I can appreciate the work that went into that as I used to decorate cakes for virtually everyone I knew.

That cake is so professional looking! When I do a cake, I don't have the patience for all that star piping.

Nice! I took a decorating cake class long ago. I made a great pumpkin cake for Halloween. It's the only one I remember how to do. You put a bunt cake upside down and another on top of it. Looks just like a pumpkin.

The cake is adorable and a unique topic for the book club.

I'll say you surely have not forgotten how! Wow, when I scrolled down to see the picture after reading your thread my jaw just dropped to the floor. That's beautiful & I would have a hard time cutting into it to eat. I think you should take it back up again & make more than just 2 a year. Thanks so much for sharing that with us.
