I'm a big Jack Reacher fan also and I can't see Tom Cruise playing him. I would rather see Steve Segall or Tyler Perry or say Tom Seleck play him. At least they have more height and weight. I've read all of the Jack Reacher series, and Lee Childs is an amazing writer.

John Sandford fans went through the same issues when Mark Harmon was chosen to play Lucas Davenport in his Certain Prey Movie. He did not fit the part at all, but he actually did a pretty good job. But I also hope if they make more movies from the Prey series, that they find someone else to play Lucas.

I heard this too - I am reading the newest novel right now - love Reacher - I wish they wouldn't use Tom Cruise - they need some one tall and big - maybe Vince Vaughn or someone like that.
