I got some new pots and pans!!! today on clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond store. Boy, i'm happy. Calphalon or Calphalan. anyway, they are stainless steel and so much better than anything i've ever had in my life. About time!
they go with my new smooth cook top too.
bit by bit i'm getting rid of stuff we've had for 30 years.

Calphalon is a good brand of cookware. In my younger days worked for a kitchen store and we sold alot of Calphalon.

I still love to buy new pots and pans and dishes! Recently hubby asked me to get rid of some plates because they hold heat in the mike--I might just take them to thrift store or maybe to our cabin. Enjoy your new pots and pans.

My kids got me new pots and pans last year. Does this mean I need to cook???????

I have 1 calphalon stock pot and I love it. I got 2 trimolina(sp?) pans for Christmas and I think I love them more than the calphalon. I have had my calphalon for about 10 years.

Our favorite cookware is fought over by my kids. I have to check their luggage to make sure they don't take it home with them. It weighs a ton, will last many generations and my kids are envious because my husband has seasoned it just right. Lodge cast iron. We have All-Clad that is top of the line and great stuff, but it still can't beat the other. And who can knock something that you can use over an open fire, on a gas stove, for a boat anchor...
