You are welcome...those candle bits are like our fabric scraps...toooooo goooood to waste

Anyone notice the Yankee Candles have about 2 inches of wax left now after the wick has burned down. The last 3 candles that I have burned have done this. That is a waste! The candles are expensive as it is.

I also have cleaned them out and then put them in the dish washer for a really good cleaning...
and then I place them on the kitchen shelf to hold my vitamins ..

I was great for forgetting to take those daily pills when I had to go into the cabinet to get them.

Solved my forgetful problem and this way they are out in the open and look rather nice.

Where do you find new wicks to make your candles?

I just buy scented votive candles and put in a new votive when the original candle is used up.

some of the prettier ones, i have put fancy old buttons in..

Google "crockpot candle making.." that is the safest way and cheapest too..grab a coupon and go to michaels creafts or joanns, and get a small bottle of candle scents to add to the scrap wax you melt..in the crockpot..

If you put the glass candle in the freezer for a few minutes, the last of the wax should come out very easy.
