I can't seem to post anything other than comments. What am I doing wrong?

When you post a picture, you have to be sure you don't preview before you send. For some reason, when you preview, the picture goes away. To post a link, you have to make sure you have everything just right or it won't be hot.

try compressing your photo files to less than 1MB.

if that doesn't work, send me a private message.

The pic I was trying to post was less than a mb - 837kb. And didn't preview. in .jpg format. tried store original and without that option.

when you find your photo, do you click on it and then on Open at teh bottom of your page, then it should put the link into the area to the left of the word Browse on this forum page. sometimes i get in a hurry and don't click Open and it wont' put it in then.

since i don't know the cause of the problem, i can't say for sure whether it's user error or a suddenly discovered glitch. therefore, i don't know whether or if they can fix it. (they can fix "us" things, but they can't fix "ya'll" things. :lol: )

anybody who is having trouble uploading pictures, is welcome to send them to me by email. don't forget to include your board name. i will be happy to upload them for you. i'll title the topics "On Behalf of [Insert Member Name Here)"

if you provide your preferred topic title, i'll include that, too.

example: "My Wild Irish Chain" (posted on behalf of MemberXYZ)

So apparently the problem is with my I.E. version.....

I thought of this when I started having some other issues working online. I tried them with Chrome and they work fine.

So I guess I need to learn something new (oh great) :cry:

So for those who also have problems posting pics, try Chrome. I didn't test it in Firefox yet.

I just glad I can now post pics !!!
