My husband and I" are quilters and love to be aprt of such a great group. We live in MAine and onoy have 2 children we have 6 grand children but they are all under 14 we are here in Main and my daughter is divorced after 20 and works e jobs abd we have been the care givers for the rides. My husband was well until 9 dayd agian and sich he has contacted a bacteria in his body. It has effected his spleen, kidney spine and heart valve. They say he will be in the hospital for several weeks and then they will have to replace the valve in his heart so he will be in a long time. He loves people and as I say we are pretty much alone in Maine and we see very few people as we are kind of isolated. IF anyone of you would be kind enough to send hi a card over the next several week is would be very appreciated as he his alone a lot a the hospital. I would be happy to give you his address. He is 69 loves people, quilts, dog, cats. love carpentry and painting and photography. We do not know if he can have his computor but right now he is way to sick to get out of bed. Please do not feel obligated but we could all make this so much easier on him. Thanak you.
