I have one room with carpet and even though it's not a much used room the carpet gets dirty spots. I bought Awesome Carpet Cleaner and sprayed lightly on the dirty spots. I wet a sponge mop, kept it full of water, and mopped the area with the spots. The spots (really dirty, flower pot broke and DGD tried to clean it up by rubbing it in) cleaned right up.

Before I bought the Awesome Carpet Cleaner I bought the expensive brand name max strength guaranteed to work carpet cleaner. Spots were still there. I saw the Awesome at the dollar store, dirt cheap. I thought this may work on my lamp shades and not be so strong. I went back and bought a lot more spray bottles if this stuff. I have used it on chair seats, drapes, stains on clothes, and my car mats. It's AWESOME. lol

I keep bottles of this under the sink LOL Laundry, carpet, chairs, you name it!

I use Awesome everyday. I'll have to look for the carpet cleaner. The last one I used was 409 carpet cleaner....It was good too! :D

"I saw the Awesome at the dollar store, dirt cheap." Dirt cheap carpet cleaner!! That's funny! I guess it's my goofy sense of humor, but that struck my funny bone! It gets up dirt and it's dirt cheap! Sorry -- it must be that I'm getting tired!

I have used Awesome for years! I have not tried the carpet cleaner by Awesome, but I certainly will.

sassey 08-20-2010 07:52 PM

Awesome is truly awesome I wouldn't be without it. My sister was visiting once and tried to tell me no $1 cleaner could possibly be any good she tried it and is now a believer in it also

sueisallaboutquilts 08-21-2010 05:15 AM

I need to try that stuff! I hope the dollar store near me has it. I've never been there.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT---IT CLEANS JUST ABOUT ANYTHING
is there a special one for laundry? I have a pair of white slacks, cotton, that something was spilled on, not sure if it was grease, oil, or soda pop--took them to dry cleaners and they got stain out, but it left a faint yellow where stain was---tried bleach but it is still there. Have not put them in dryer---any ideas on how to get it out?

Have used Awesome for years, since the Dollar store came to town, haha....its great on spots on clothes, DH shirts.....

Gramof6 08-21-2010 08:34 AM

I was hoping maybe you that have used Awesome, would post on what you have used this product on. And do you use the product straight or do you dilute it? I bought a spray bottle of it and a jug of it to refill the spray bottle. I sprayed it onto a tablecoth, straight, to see of it would remove Ketsup & spilled coffee. Yes it sure did. Made me very happy! Looking forward to hearing more on this product. It is certainly cheap compared to other cleaners!

Gramof6.....I use it straight on everything and have had no problems, great for spots on clothes, occasionally it doesn't get a bad grease spot out and I use Dawn on that and it usually works....

Gramof6 08-21-2010 08:56 AM

Thank You Nancy. I appreciate your post! I may go pick up a bottle to put in the laundry room. This is cheaper than other spot removers.

I'll have to look for it.

WHAT STORE did you find it at? There are a number of DOLLAR stores around.

sewmuch 08-21-2010 10:24 AM

Gramof6. you're welcome....last night I sprayed some on some oil spots that were on our walkway to the front door and let it sit for a few minutes hosed it off and they all came out

I GET IT AT EITHER THE DOLLAR TREE OR .99 CENT STORE
