CAUTION -PayPal problems

Please be aware of PayPal leaks. Yesterday a fellow worker received account info that was his. Also, billing for products he had not purchased.
This evening at our Neighborhood Crime Watch meeting, we were informed about scams being used thur PayPal.

It seems that someone is always out trying to get something for nothing at our expense.
Be aware of your surrounding at all times, especially out shopping.

I recently had someone use my credit card for a purchase thru paypal. I don't know how that happened. The cc was not linked to paypal at all. I was credited for it and got a new card. I certainly annoying:(

Sadly it is that time of the year when the thieves are hard at work - keep an eye on all your financial records

If those type of people would put forth just ½ the amount of energy that they spend on doing evil:(, toward doing something good, they would be very sucessful. :)

It is that time of year. We need to pay close attention to all types of payments, credit cards, bank accounts. I used to balance my check book just once a month, now I do it at least once a week.

Also when out shopping hang on to your purses, or just carry one card with you instead of the purse. I see so many women who will put their purse in a shopping cart and walk away from it or turn away from it while shopping and not realize how easy it would have been for someone to just walk off with it. Or reach into it and grab the wallet.

Ok. Off my soap box now. Drifted off topic.

WOW ! I am getting emails for a Pay Pal Account I don't have .. hmmmm..

Last week I received an email, supposedly from PayPal, stating that my CC info didn't match the information they had on file. Would I please update the information on the attached form. I DID NOT open the form and sent a query to PP. I have yet to hear back from them.

The most recent email scam I'm getting is one that says my ACH payment has been rejected or failed and to click on the attachment. Not on your life buddy!!!

these are NOT new..I have had PP for 12 years and these are NORMAL events. Just remember to forward them to [email protected] and all should be well!
