Hello everyone!!!

While a lot of you may not "know" me, I know I have had several conversations with several of you so I wanted to send a message.

Typically my summer is quite crazy with work but this summer however, I was pretty sure I had come down with something that was going to literally kill me. Between work and trying to get healthy (with no insurance) it took me just over two months to realize that I was not dying but that I was expecting my first baby :-)

My DH and I are VERY excited and since this discovery, I have applied and received Medicaid and we go to the doctor on the 13th for our checkup :-)

This is our first baby and we are both THRILLED but nonetheless I have not only touched my computer for about two months but also my sewing room is collecting dust!

I am starting to feel much much better and pretty much back to as normal as I suppose I can be and I look forward to participating in several topics within the next few months :-)

Congratulations! I am so glad you had nothing bad and also a nice surprise! Now you will have to go to your sewing room and start making baby quilts!

You are not alone. I have known others who though they were sick only to find out they were pregnant!!
