I made these Chemo Caps for my sister. She lost her hair last week. I can't be there with her, so am trying to help out by making things to send. Also I woulg like to thank the person who posted the link for this chemo cap. It has really helped me. May God Bless each and every one of you.

Nice! I wish I had that pattern when I was making the caps for my sister back in 2000. Do you have the link for the pattern?

I love your design and your sister will appreciate them so much. Some people buy wigs but you can't wear them all the time so the caps definitely get used.

Your DS is going to love these :D:D:D

These are so cute and I know a few people who would appreciate having these. Thank you for sharing the photos and the link to the pattern! I'll be praying for your Sister.

Thinking of you! I used bandana's when I lost my hair. With Fabric, your choices are endless!

MaryAnnMc 08-02-2011 10:20 AM

Pam, those are lovely! I could have used those myself. May I suggest you make her some solid colors to match outfits? Plain black and plain white will go with an awful lot. Just an idea.

And I'm going to add that link to my charity file. I'll definitely want to make some of those. God bless your sister.

Pam, I just looked at the patterns on the site. How about either a turban or the chemo cap? Bare heads get really cold at night! I slept in a turban.

I slept in one too because I was freezing!

Great caps! Prayers for your sister.

The simple one made with knits is better for sleeping in, it's really soft when it's done. My husband had several colors(male colors) and wore them everywhere.

Those are beautiful caps. I would have loved to make them for my sister in 2004. She wore bandanas.
