I had no idea that lovely woman was my Mom's age. She was amazing!
We watched "Sounder" last night. It was really good. We'd seen it a long time ago.

Cicely Tyson has been one of my favorite actress for most of my adult life. Her activism is something I have admired all along too. She holds a special place for many women and black women. Thank you Cicely for a lifetime of service to all of us.

I know, i loved her. makes me feel even more old when we see wonderful people like her leave this Earth.
Angela Basset is in a new show now and looks in such great shape. That woman works out!! Made me think of missing Sidney Poitier. he is such a good actor but rarely seen. but it is great he is able to live a life without people snapping photos all the time.
