Classmates? Funny!!!

have you ever been guilty of looking at others your own age and thinking, surely i can't look that old.

well . . . You'll love this one.

my name is alice , and i was sitting in the waiting room for my first appointment with a new dentist.

i noticed his dds diploma on the wall, which bore his full name. suddenly, i remembered a tall, handsome, dark-haired boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 40-odd years ago.

could he be the same guy that i had a secret crush on, way back then?

upon seeing him, however, i quickly discarded any such thought.

this balding, gray-haired man with the deeply lined face was way too old to have been my classmate.

after he examined my teeth, i asked him if he had attended morgan park high school.

'yes. Yes, i did... I'm a mustang,' he beamed with pride.

'when did you graduate?' i asked.

he answered, 'in 1975. Why do you ask?'

'you were in my class!', i exclaimed.

he looked at me closely.

then, that ugly,

old,

bald,

wrinkled faced,

fat,

gray-haired,

decrepit

son-of-a-gun

asked, 'what did you teach???

I graduated in 1963 from a small town and there were 12 in my graduating class. I seldom do back there but I went for our 40th reunion. I was standing at the football field watching for someone I might know. I turned around and saw 5 people walking toward me. One of them said oh look, it's Shirley and to myself I said I never saw these prople before in my life. Turned out they were my class mates. The guys were bald and the girls were gray. Suddenly one of the guys started laughing and said, we are all standing here looking at each other saying oh my, how they have aged. We all laughes and had the best time ever. Next year will by my 50th reunion and I plan to go back.

My hubby has a head of salt & pepper hair & I am still blond with highlights thanks to DD but not a lot of gray. Dh is 6 weeks younger than me. Funny. I lucklily have my mom's & grandmother's complexion. Know some 10 years younger & man they look like they could be by mama.

Lucky you! It runs in our family to go gray early & even in HS I had gray streaks in my hair. Hello, Miss Clairol! LOL!
