Cleaning laminate flooring
We just moved into a home with laminate flooring in all rooms but the bedrooms - have never had it before. I am very confused after reading conflicting advise online about how to clean them. Damp mop? Only dry mop? Spray cleaner on microfiber pad? Do tell. Many thanks!

I have laminate flooring in the master bedroom, study, powder room and dining room in my house. I use Bona Wood Floor cleaner and the Bona "mop" with it. You don't want to get the floors really wet or they will warp. I've had mine for over 10 years now and they look great. I do occasionally damp mop them but I'm careful not to get them too wet.

I have laminate in one room and I love it. Because I open the windows every evening and live by a major street the room get very dusty. I just use an oiled mop and try not to get any furniture spay on the floor when dusting because it becomes slippery. I only use a very wrung out wet mop when the grands spill stuff on the floor and quickly see that I dry it.

I have throughout the house and just vacumn (we have dogs inside and live the in the country)then run my swifter over it with a wood flood cleaner. I avoid much water.

I use about 1/2 cup vinegar in a pail of water and get on my hands & knees. Laminate isn’t recommended for bathrooms but previous owner had a neighbor install it there. I’m careful not to get it very wet stepping out of the shower and I love it.

I use a damp (wet it and wring it out) pad on a Swiffer mop (not the kind that come with the mop). Sometimes I use a diluted spray of Simple Green.

I had the man that refinished our hardwood floors tell me to use Windex instead of Bona. He said it does the same thing and is much cheaper.

Mostly I vacuum mine. The key is not to let them get wet, or dry them off quickly if they do. I sometimes damp mop, and sometimes use Bruce cleaner. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bruce-32-fl...yABEgImdfD_BwE

I vacuum and use a steam mop.

Vacuum and then use Bruce wood and laminate cleaner. As mentioned by others you don’t want to get it too wet.
