Hello, it's me. Have to share this with you and thought it could also be a little game to follow.
Here's my story: On Nov 29 I mailed a priority package to Redgarnett222 in Reno, Nevada. Everything is right on the package. Address etc. She calles me and hasn't rec'd it so I track it and it has been sitting in Bell, Ca. since Dec 1, nothing else. So we both entered a trace with our perspective PO's and this morning I finally get a call after waiting three days, and it has been referred back to my postamster in Bluff Dale. SHe asked me questions and looked it up and guess what??????/ Yesterday at 2:59pm it left Bell, Ca to go to Mass. 01152. Go figure?????? She said she will call me today if she hears but it will be monday more than likely. SO I went to USPS.com and added the number and low and behold it is indeed on the way to Mass. ?????????????????????????????????????????/ Won't it be fun to watch and see where all the USPS sends it before and if Redgarnett 222 finally receives it? ANy ideas. If anyone works with the PO and can help, jump in. WE are anxiously watching and waiting. I said before, it is like watching the red radar light for Santa on Xmas eve. Happy holidays everyone. Let's prayer this wonderful package reaches her as it has lots od goodies in it. I want my package...now!!!!!!!!! I think it's trying to find those lucious lips on the mailbox!

Wish it would try harder. Many moons ago I worked nights at the PO as a single mom and I used to throw parcels and if it missed the bin I was aiming at I went over and moved it. This could be what happened and someone has still not noticed it isi n the wrong bin. I worked at the airport DFW so would stand in the middle of about 20 bins and toss the packages according to zip. So I can see how it could be lost. But never had to trace one. So will be interesting. If it is not found, I have about 8 sets of embroider blocks to re-do and two jelly rolls, and lots of fabric to replace. I know it was a box full of stuff she ordered and I gave her some things too. SO............ follow the postal brick road.
GOtta love the post office |
Sounds like a Lifetime Movie Network movie......That is so wierd because the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago and It went halfway across this country before it ended up in Iowa where it was suppose to be.... Hope you find it ok!

It would have been faster to drive it there. :) Good luck. :)

Not long ago I ordered a quilting supply for the Longarm. Immediately, I got a response e-mail saying they were on vacation and it would be mailed on the 15th of November from the PO & gave me a tracking #. I watched on the 15th....wasn't sent. I waited till the 18th and wrote them asking why they hadn't sent it yet. That afternoon, I went to the PO box and there it was!!!! The tracking site STILL says it's not been shipped yet.......and they wonder why they're having $$$ problems.

I would have loved to drive it to her and spent a few hours in the Reno casinos. LOL. Then hours of quilting and talking with Redgarnet222 and sharing per wonderful patterns she designs. SHe is amazing on what she makes. |
It probably will end up wherever the package you sent me back in October. Still waiting for that. I figure it has gone into the USPS black hole where packages are never seen again!
|
Closing this post. Thank you

I read message boards on Ebay and Amazon and Bell CA is NOTORIOUS for being a "black hole" of the USPS.
|
Thank you for letting me know that. Now I am so sad and am determined to find it. I hate it when I make someone unhappy and then add to it by seeing the glass half full instead of half empty. My apologies This is my nature to make positive so it has positive outcome.

Years ago, my two sons and I visited my sister in CT and she served pumperknickle bagels which the older son fell in love with. My sis sent him some for his birthday but they never arrived. Months and months later, she got the package back as being undeliverable. They were nothing but green mold by that time! That's the last time she ever sent food anywhere, anytime

My fingers are crossed for you!

My package from Debbie came very quickly with some nice surprises in it. Thanks, again.
I do have an order from an ebay seller, caligirl from California that seems to be lost in space, too. Tracking hasn't been much help. |

I do have an order from an ebay seller, caligirl from California that seems to be lost in space, too. Tracking hasn't been much help. The one I am tracking was sent to Springfield, Ma on the 9th and now it it is New Jersey today. I have no idea why it is wondering around the states. In the morning I can call the post office again and ask her what she found out. I hope it gets "caught" really quick. |
Still no word after it left New Jersey. ?????????????????/

I had mailed a birthday card to a friend who lives 20 miles away. It took over a month for the card to reach her.
For her next BD I went for a visit with her card in hand. |
As of the 14, the package has made its way back across the US to California. Now hope it gets to Nevada. Since the 29th it has been traveling.
|
OK it has finally arrived in Reno, Nevada as of thsi morning so it may get to her today. Crossing fingers and toes. What a long adventure for this package. This really cost the post office extra. LOL. Thanks for keeping up.
